Inbox Aloud

Terms of Service

Last updated 10 October 2026

Inbox Aloud is run by Winston Dube, an individual based in the United Kingdom. These terms apply when you use Inbox Aloud (the website, app and assistant, "the service"). By using it you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. The service

Inbox Aloud is a voice assistant for your Gmail account. It sorts and summarises your email, reads it to you, drafts replies and new emails for you to approve, and labels mail you choose. It is in early access: features may change, and it may sometimes be unavailable.

2. Your account and Gmail

3. You stay in control of what's sent

Ava can only prepare drafts. An email is sent only after you approve it with a clear spoken "yes" or a tap on Send. You're responsible for checking drafts and for the emails you approve. AI can make mistakes, such as misreading a date or misunderstanding a request, so please check anything important before you approve it. Summaries and priorities are suggestions, not advice.

4. Inbox Aloud doesn't delete email

The service can put email on a "Delete list" label and file receipts into a "Receipts & invoices" label. It cannot delete email. Anything you delete, you delete yourself in Gmail.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Inbox Aloud to send spam, harass anyone, break the law, or try to break, overload or get around the service's safeguards. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. Fees

Early access is currently free. If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you the price first, and you won't be charged unless you choose a plan.

7. Our content

The service, its name, logo and design belong to us. Your email and anything you write stays yours.

8. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill, but "as is", without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for emails you approved. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer under UK law.

9. Ending

You can stop using the service and disconnect at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, or if we close the service, in which case we'll give notice where we can.

10. Changes and law

We may update these terms; if a change matters, we'll tell you before it applies. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
